Claimant says:
"Mr. Mark Wathen sold me a Bass boat for $3500.00 and 2 rifles, and covered up a big hole in the keel of the boat. It was patched with silicone and black paint that he admitted to me he painted. So he could make the boat his own. I have had the boat for a few months I have only taken it out a few times. Then my brother noticed it was leaking under the front down where the middle of the keel is. I peeled some silicone away and out came a ton of water, there was a gaping hole there. I took the boat to a Marina and they told me it would cost around $2000.00 just to fix the boat and he didn't know how much it would cost to weld it because that wasn't his expertise."

    The individual who sold the boat should have been held responsible. He knew and admitted he painted the keel himself. So, he knew the silicone was there, and I think he put it there then painted it.
