Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On 4/14/2012 I Patti Hurt bought 4 vehicles from this bussiness in the amount of $23,000 plus tax and I still have not received my 4 pink slips. I have spoke to this business several times and the employees keep pushing it off on DMV. From my understanding I thought the bussiness would have to have pink slips in hand before selling them to the public. It has been over 4 months now and I still do not have the pink slips to the 4 vehicles that I bought from them. Please help me to get the pink slips. Thank you, Patti Hurt."

  • I have finally received all four pink slips through the mail from DMV. However it was still not right of the company to do this to me. I will not take them off the BBB page so that other customers are aware of these actions and BAD bussiness practices of this outfit. Therefore I would consider this case closed because I have now in my possesion the four pink slips. So what do I do from here? Sincerly, Patti Hurt.

  • DMV has strict guidelines as we all know. We did everything in accordance to DMV's standards. On the titles we sent in originally we made a simple mistake of not stamping our company name on the back of the titles, so in result DMV sent them back to us. They gave us an extension to get the titles back to them. We did this in a timely manner well within the deadline given to us by DMV. As we all know the DMV does things on thier own time. Once we sent them back to DMV there is nothing that we can do to make them accelerate the process. Lightning Auctions apoligizes for the first mistake but it was an honest mistake and we did everything we could to get this done in a timely manner. The Nevada DMV (obviously a very notable source) can comfirm that we followed all of thier rules and sent everything to them on time.
