"EVENT: Kirby Vacuum Contract Not Fulfilled
EVENT DATE: October 13,2016
TimeLine: January 12, 2017
I have been dealing with a contract with Kirby Vacuum distributor, K & M Dist. LLC, since October 2016 with no results. I bought a 2016 Kirby and they were to sell my 2014 vacuum for me. They picked up the 2014 vacuum from my home and I can not get the money or vacuum back from them. I have been calling the corporate office and am working with Orif in Customer Complaint dept. and he can contact them and Lance and Brandi Wright put him off too. Brandi or Lance will not even answer my phone calls. I feel that they did a scam on me or better yet stole my 2014 vacuum, kept the money if sold. I cannot seem to function any more without this on my mind all the time. I am 72 and cannot even sleep through the night. Can you help me.

  • Since December 5, 2016, The Kirby Company has been actively mediating this matter on Ms. Riley's behalf. Communication between Ms. Riley and the Company, and Ms. Riley and the independently owned and operated distributorship, from which she purchased her Kirby vacuum, has been on-going. The owner of the independent distributorship relayed to the Company that he had just spoken with Ms. Riley yesterday to discuss resolution of this matter.

  • And to clarify, even though PeopleClaim has listed us as "Kirby K & M Dist. Llc", the party that is actually posting responses is The Kirby Company. K & M Distributing LLC is an independently owned and operated distributorship of Kirby products. This complaint is directly against K & M. While not a party to the sales contract between K & M and Ms. Riley, The Kirby Company's only role in this matter is as a mediator between the parties.
