Claimant says:
"My insurance company found the transmission replacement and shipped to your location. Once the old transmission was removed and the new one installed...Joe's mechanic did not put enough transmission fluid in the new transmission! When I picked up the car, I told the mechanic it wasn't shifting and he said it was fine? I drove down the street, came right back and said again "It's not shifting right" and "What is that ticking noise?" Again, he said it was fine. So, I drove the car to have the rest of the repairs done (body work). Once I picked up car? I drove under 400 miles and the transmission blew. Took to BMW and they said there was very little transmission fluid in the transmission. I was charged to have the transmission filled by BMW and they learned the fourth gear blew. So, I called Joes Electric without a response. So, I faxed BMW's findings (very little transmission fluid in new trans) and still no response. It's been over a year? No response. I've had to buy another car and save money to replace another transmission. My insurance company paid Joes Electric directly for the work so it's on me to resolve. The transmission was tested and documented...no leaks! How does a transmission have almost no fluid and it's not your mechanics fault? It is clear to me that your shop was unfamiliar with BMW transmissions. Admit the mistake and pay to have the trans replaced plus labor. It's the right thing to do."
