Claimant says:
"An extended water line to property from meter that was positioned by the water company near to their cement transmission line . approx. one quarter of a mile away from my property. broke and they charged me $ 188.00 + for that lost water. I paid an amount as for usual usage plusn a small amount.the water company now tells me that I am delinquent and are going to turnoff my water if I do not pay for their lost water. I am 76 with asbestosis , a broken knee , three slipped disks . and can not get a job to pay for their greedy actions of transversing across another property to save them from installing a water main. aqnd yes as there is no water main near there is also no fire hydrants.. I have kept up with the used portion of this bill plusn a little extra. Do we need to go to litigation ??? I have conversed with them by telephone an d they just reply pay up or no water. plus the water quality is very bad here. we have had to install water filters so as to be able to use the water"
