"We booked a suite ( because supposedly no rooms where available) for 3 nights Oct. 14 - 17
We arrived today and the so called suite is dirty and looks and feels like a storage unit, no
furniture to speak off and charging $716.43 --I would like to know if anyone ever inspects
these properties, and checks the pictures on the internet which resemble nothing in reality."

  • we have a 3 night min and the guest did not say any thing about cleanness. we have a very clean property. The only complaint we got was the love set was to small and should have been a full size sofa and the bed room did not have night stands. Which all of this would be a fire code violation for us to comply with. We are sorry about this situation but this is no fault of the Heidi Motel or our staff.

  • I told the manager and the housekeeper about the dirty and stained rug and loveseat. I left an extensive note on the coffee table with our complaints.My husband and I were told that they do NOT have a rug cleaner.
    I have pictures of the stained rug the loveseat stains and only 2 pcs of furniture in the bedroom, no reading light only a ceiling fan with a dim bulb.I complaint several times and we left early Sunday morning, even though we booked 3 nights, we just could not sand to be in this filthy place one more night. We loved Helen and had a really good time away from the so called "King Suite". We would not have left if we would have been comfortable in the storage shed masquerading as a hotel suite.I can send pictures by if you tell me where to send them. We are Seniors in our 80's and the last thing we need is a problem we have traveled in and out of country and we never stayed in a more disgusting place than Heidi Motel.

  • Can you add some pictures? You just click on the paperclip and choose the pictures you want to add. Name the pictures first to make them easier to find.

    I live in Atlanta so I know it's peak season in Helen but still....I think there are quite strict laws about deceptive advertising. I can't tell if Heidi Motel did that or not without pictures.

    You can complain to the GA Dept of Public Health about cleanliness problems and probably the Chamber of Commerce about the other problems. Helen is pretty much all about tourism so they have a vested interest in trying to keep up standards.

    I would have a real problem with any hotel without night stands and a reading light, especially if I was paying for a King Suite. How could that possibly be a fire code violation?
