Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"A new roof was put on our house in November of 2013 by Hansons. This spring lots of shingles were buldged up. I called Hansons regarding the problem and to schedule the roof spray that was to be put on the shingles since it was too cold to spray them in November. A fellow came out, sprayed the roof, and told my husband somebody else would have to come back to fix the shingles that were popped up and that the roof didn't look very good. After calling again about the shingles, another guy came out to fix the problem. He nailed a few down and told me the shingles did not seal. He was here on 5-28-14. The roof should have sealed by then. He also said he did not like the looks of the shingle job and he was going to report it to his supervisor. I received a call from Hansons on 6-2-14 and was told three guys were going to get together to try to resolve the problem and he would get back to me the next day. I finally called them on 6-11-14. I talked to a lady at Hansons who said she would find out what was going on. I was placed on hold while she made a phone call. When she came back on the line she said it was decided that a new roof would be put on our house and someone would be calling for an installation time. After a few weeks, I received a call stating a crew would be here July 8th and 9th. The fellow that showed up told me he was to glue all the loose shingles down and clamp them. I told him what I was told on the phone so he didn't do what he was sent to do. He said to call Hansons and get it straightened out. I called Hansons and was on hold for 13 minutes before a gentleman came on the line and said he would call me right back after he checked something. I received a call 15 minutes later and a female voice told me to hold on and then I heard a female voice say "that's f---ing bull----" and then I was hung up on. I am still waiting for another call back from Hansons. It's been two days now. I am very unhappy about Hansons service and mostly about my roof. I hope this can be resolved because we are paying pymts on a roof that even Hanson contractors said looked really bad."
