"I had a leak on my roof that they came and fixed. However, they haven't returned to repair my ceiling on the inside of my home. I have called them at least five times over the last five months. They have told me on each call that they would come out and resolve my issue. I am still waiting on them."

  • Really sorry for the wait, but in honesty Guaranteed Roofing did send someone to repair the ceiling in May. Unfortunately, a bad repair of the ceiling was done at that time and the subcontractor did not return to the home as promised. I hope that Mr. Scholl has since contacted People Claim to let them know that on 6/17/2014 I sent another person to initiate the repair, which will take about three visits to his home. I am also sorry for the delay in answering this complaint. I was not aware of the complaint until today 7/01/2014, I have been out of the state since 6/18/2014, and just received my mail last evening. It is my understanding that Mr. Scholl is agreeable to the person making the repair.

The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:

  • "By the time we received this notice, we had already completed the appropriate repair. I responded to this claim after the posting date, because I was unaware that it had been made. The homeowner stated to me that he was very happy with our response, and repair. I am very distressed to see that we have an F rating on this site. I will not make any offer, this homeowner is not our customer, we were doing warranty repair to his interior.
    Further, we had already sent someone to do the repair, and they did not complete the repair to ceiling properly, or return to finish the job. When the homeowner made me aware, I rescheduled another person for repair, and it was done to his satisfaction. Please remove this from your site. Thank you, Teresa Wakefield, owner Guaranteed Roofing and Construction."
