Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My checking balance dropped to a negative 37 cents on March 16, 2016. On March 17, eight additional transactions processed, totaling $98.18 and dropping the balance to minus $98.55. The bank honored the eight new transactions, but I received an overdraft notice in the mail four days later, saying that I had incurred overdraft charges of $29 on nine transactions for a total of $261.

I told the bank if I had been aware of the initial overdraft I would have made a deposit, and asked for a break on the charges. The offered to drop two of the charges, but said they couldn't do more. I appreciate the gesture but think it could and should be more generous. They're charging an exhorbitant amount for covering a very small short-term debt. They disagree."
