Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Good Afternoon,

On 4/17/2014 Pelican wire placed an order for flowers to be delivered to the facility on 4/21/2014 for an employee who is leaving ( employees last day is 4/23/2014). The order was processed mid-morning from Golden Gate flowers/ web site Flower Delivery Express.com. I (Theresa Giannakopoulos) place the order and received a confirmation number (attached) with the special instructions for a Mylar balloon and delivery on 4/21/2014, between 8 AM- and 10AM. No delivery

I waited until today 4/22/2014, to call to track the order, my first phone call was at 9AM (opening ) to Golden Gate florist, where I spoke to a male who stated that he would look into it, because he did not see the order or the request for the mylar balloon. I then began to continue searching through the web site and where we ordered from. I had saved the site and tried to track an order where I only found the contact by email. While doing the email I finally received a return call from the florist at approximately 2:30 PM, where the same man tried to tell me that my order never went through because it showed a failure to process. I told him that couldn’t be possible considering I have in front of me a confirmation, which I cage him the number earlier. He told me there was nothing he can do about that, and the best he could do was to re-charge my card and process a new order, because the shop closes and they did not receive the last order.

I told him that was totally unacceptable, and the site states that they are always ready to assist you in our state of the art call centers which are opened 24 hours a day seven days a week! His answer was , well I guess all I can tell you is that it’s a computer and computers have glitches!

I want to report this business for the unprofessional handling of our situation, and the unprofessional attitude I had received. Not only was it evident that he had no answer for me, but he blatantly continued to try to create excuses rather than try to remedy or salvage the business transaction. I am very upset with the treatment I have received and would like action taken, It would be in any website’s interest that promotes or does business with them to be on full alert that they do not live up to their commitment. I will be sending a copy of this email to the Naples, Fl. Local better Business bureau for further investigation.
