Claimant says:
"I was insured threw geico for 3 years. On my moms policy which she has had for 10 years. She has never called in a claim. I had to cancel insurance in september dye to my car being repossesed. I paid full civerage for a month when i didnt eve have the car in my possession. I called following month to cancel. They kept notifying my mom that if i didnt pick my insyrance up i was going to get fined threw penndot and i would loose my plates and etc. I am a single mother of 1 so i struggle very badly. I took my two week check git my car from repossession and paid geico a week and a half later was ran off the road by a truck. I called into geico and reported everything. Well it is now almost 4 months later i have no vehicle i lost my job when the investigator arrived at my job and starts to question about my vehicle. Mind you they had no clue i was the owner. So not only was he disreguarding my privacy act but interdouces himself as a investigator. There were customers inside that over heard all of my business. And then wants to know why a investigator was at my job!? I gave geico all the information they wanted. And after one thing was resolved it went to another thing they needed from me. They did nit contact me as they should i had to repeatly call geico. I went from the insurance adjuster to a insurance investigator. Then to the personal claims department. I demanded a manager then he stated they no longer handle my claim we go back to the investigator. Im stressed out enough. But geico has put so much stress aggervation dissapointment and depression. On me i cant handle much more. Im stil without a car months later and im barely hanging on to my house and my bills. I dont know what else to do. I cant believe they have put me threw this. My mom filled a claim about a month later someone backed into her car they had a insurance adjuster come out and can you believe they did not write her a check for the damages or anything. They stayed she needed to get a estimaye!? Ive never in my life had to be put threw this. Im so upset over this. Im feeling like ive let my daughter down and i dont know where we will live if i loose our house. I really have been thinking i need to consult therapy. Because of the stress geico has put me threw."
