Claimant says:
"I have been with, Geico Insurance for over 10 yrs and have always paid my premiums on time and had at times more then one vehicle covered with them and every time i have put in or tried to put in a claim with them and have never had a claim paid.
1st claim was when my truck was stolen out from under me, by someone who forged my name and had it signed into their name, this happened on oct 16, but since it took over a month to get the sheriff dept here in lee county fl to take a report they are stating the the date the truck was stolen was after cancellation of insurance -not true the actual date was on Oct 16 2016 and the truck had full cover at that time, i received no payment from Geico for that claim, this was a 50,000 dollar truck.
Now on my current policy for my Camaro, which was damaged while driving down state rd 82, when i hit a pot hole and an engine bolt came lose and fall from the vehicle, they say that since i did not drive into oncoming traffic to avoid the pot hole and have a collision with some other vehicle i am not covered for my rental reimbursement. Geico will look for any reason possible to not pay a claim and i have since canceled my policy with them and will look for other insurance carriers"

  • i have not heard from Geico, since the end of November, where they continued to give me the same useless information and did not offer anything to close this claim. I have canceled there coverage of my vehicle and will not consider them for any of my insurance needs in the future
