"I PURCHASED A GE PROFILE REFRIGERATOR ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO. AND FROM DAY ONE I'VE HAD PROBLEMS WITH IT. THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE APPLIANCE I'VE EVER PURCHASED, BUT I FIGURED IT WAS OKAY, AFTER ALL IT WAS T "THE TOP OF THE LINE" SERIES. I'VE HAD TO HAVE REPAIR ON IT AT LEASE TWICE A YEAR. I CONTINUE TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. IT'S A GOOD THING THAT I PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. I CONTACTED GE DIRECTLY TO SEE IF THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS PRODUCT AND WAS OFFERED A REPAIR SERVICE AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE. I WAS NEVER TOLD IF THERE HAD BEEN A RECALL OR NOT. HOWEVER I DID DISCOVER THAT THIS REFRIGERATOR IS NOT BEING MANUFACTURED ANYMORE. I WONDER WHY? MY FOOD CONTINUES TO FREEZE INSIDE THE REFRIGERATOR SECTION EVEN THOUGH ITS BEEN "REPAIRED" THREE TIMES. I ALREADY HAVE A SEPARATE FREEZER! I DON'T NEED ANOTHER ON! THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST APPLIANCE I'VE EVER OWNED!"
