"In November I received a bill from GCI for almost three hundred dollars. My normal bill is around 80.00 dollars a month. I contacted GCI and asked why my bill was so high, they said someone had got into my computer and down loaded a lot of material. I said I would pay my normal monthly bill, they said I had to pay the three hundred dollars. My router had a password but someone was able to get in my computer. Why do I have pay for what other people do Legal or not"

  • As of 31 Dec 2013 I have not received anything from GCI. I think I will get another company to take care of me. In the meantime do what you have to do to resolve this. You would think GCI would do more to keep people from downloading things from other peoples computers. I changed my password right after this happened to me. It looks like GCI is just after our money and not try to protect us from Crooks.
