Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I leased 2012, Nissan Sentra on 8/13/2012. I was assured this is new Nissan, Now I find it had about 238 miles , when I leased. This car was a test ride car and it has been tossed from another dealer. Freedom Nissan did not get this from Nissan Corp. I want my money back, and freedom should take the car back. Because lying about New Vs. test drive or used car is FRAUD.
2- I leased this car for 39 months, Freedom Nissan charged me about $460.0 for Motor registration and motor vehicle/sales tax. Assuring me that I do not have to pay any more sales tax. I move to New Jersey and now NISSAN FINANCE CORP is charging me $15.0 for sales/motor vehicle tax as of Jan2013. I will keep paying this $15 extra ,until my lease expires. Freedom should pay me back,$460.0-24=436.0

Additional information: 10/1/13

My complaint is not resolved yet. Following are the ISSUES.
1-I PURCHASED / LEASED Nissan Sentra from Freedom Nissan in August 2012. Freedom Nissan charged me about $460.83 in VERMONT sales tax for the coming 39 months upfront. My monthly /lease payment was $195.59/month. THEY SHOULD HAVE CHARGED THIS TAX ON MONTH BY MONTH BASIS.
2- I moved to new Jersey ( my permanent home is in N.J.) and starting Jan 2013, NISSAN FINANCE Corp. started charging me $209.28 per month and told me this extra charge is for N.J.tax. and i have to pay this for the rest of the lease period. I explained to them that I had already paid 6% state Tax( Vermont) for the entire lease. Nissan Finance said that is between ME & FREEDOM NISSAN, IF I DO NOT PAY THE EXTRA $13.69/MONTH, THEY WILL REPOSSESS THE CAR.
3- Freedom Nissan Owner/President Mr. Mort Shapiro (tel.802-864-7400 Ext.205) DID CALL ME ABOUT 2 WEEKS A GO, AND SAID NISSAN FIN.IS CHARGING ME EXTRA AND HE WILL FIX THIS. BUT AS OF 9/29/13 , NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. I HAVE SENT A COUPLE OF FAXES TO MR> MORT SHAPIRO, BUT NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.
4- THE SECOND MOST SERIOUS ISSUE IS WHEN I LEASED THIS CAR, I REQUESTED A BRAND NEW CAR. THE SALES MAN SAID THIS IS A BRAND NEW CAR. HOWEVER NOW I FIND THAT THE CAR HAD MORE THAN 200 MILES, WHEN IT WAS LEASED TO ME. THIS CAR HAD COME FROM ANOTHER DEALER AND WAS BEING USED AS A TEST DRIVE/ TEST SHOW CAR TO CUSTOMERS. SO I GOT A USED CAR with more than 200 miles on it. I WROTE TO MR.MORT SHAPIRO, they should TAKE THE CAR BACK AND RETURN MY MONEY. I DID REQUEST THE SALES MAN I WANT A BRAND NEW CAR AND HE TOLD ME THIS IS A BRAND NEW CAR. THIS IS NOT TRUE. SO I WANT MY MONEY BE RETURNED AND I WILL RETURN THE CAR. NOW I HAVE ABOUT 6200 MILES ON THIS CAR.
