Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I purchased a vehicle from this place. I have documentation that shows it was advertised..nothing wrong with it. Runs great! The owner assured me there was nothing wrong with it. After we purchased it, five minutes later the engine light came on. He assured me that it was normal and again nothing was wrong. The power steering pump had a hole in it and the van was pulling to the right, the brakes were bad and now after having it checked by a different mechanic, I find out the van is junk, has been in an accident, the engine is knocking..a whole list of things. I also told the owner before I bought it that I didnt want it if the a/c didnt work. He said he charged it and it was all good. Three days later it is blowing hot air. I got it checked and found out there is a hole in the condensor. The mechanic also said he would fix the engine light problem and inspect the vehicle for me. After waiting in his shop for 3 hours, I found out all he did was put a 6 month inspection sticker on it and turned the checked engine light off which again came on after driving it for 5 minutes."
