Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I gave the ebay store on Whipple Avenue in North Canton, OH, several small boxes of miniatures to try to sell.

After 6 months I went back and was told that this was a specialized market niche and may take a while to sell. The store people gave me a reference number to check that the material was online for auction. When I looked, I saw that part of the miniatures were online to sell.I don't do ebay myself, so did not continue tracking the miniatures.

After another 6 or 8 months I went back to the store to see what was going on - and actually was planning on taking back the miniatures as they hadn't sold. The store was empty. There was a sign on the window for lease. There were no other numbers.

I checked my copy of the agreement. My name, address, 2 phone numbers and email address are on it. I was never notified of the changes and to come get my things or that they had sold. They were not abandoned.

These miniatures were from the 70s and before. There were a set of cast iron old fashioned stoves - 2 heating ones with coal shovel and bucket and a cooking stove with a tool to lift the burners off. The largest piece was about 6 inches long.

Also were some imported from Germany miniature framed pictures and a mirror. a small metal bike and a plastic ( of some sort) tricycle. There were several chairs and stools, along with small dishes and pots, candle sticks, mirror, coat rack, tiny baby and wooden rocker crib, a kichen style wooden table with drop leaves, lantern, broom. a hand crocheted rug that looked like a braided rug. There were also other furniture pieces like chairs, dressers and such. All looked old fashioned and antique in style, though were made in the 1900s as far as I know. There were enough pieces to furnish several rooms in a doll house, though there was never a doll house for them. Not all of the pieces were to the same scale. Many of the pieces were contained in their own original boxes and stacked inside the boxes I carried them in.

I am not sure what value there is, unless someone is a collector of these types of items, but I would like to know where they are and if I can get them back. The whole incident is frustrating. I am glad that I didn't bring more in to put on ebay as I had thought of doing. If I had been informed of the situation, I would have certainly come and gotten the miniatures.

If more information is needed please contact me. I can provide my copy of the agreement form.

Thank you for your attention.

Connie Faust"
