Claimant says:
"I had a contract with EOS Fitness center. After a year i cancelled. I went to the gym and cancelled.
They gave me a phone number to call to cancel. I spoke with a person by the name of Amanda with ABC financial. she told me she will call the gym. I never heard back until I received an email stating they will go to collections if I don't pay $86. I called ABC financial again and spoke with Hope who said she will talk with Amanda and get back to me. a month later, Today I receive another nasty letter explaining if i don't pay there will be legal action taken. I called again and was told Amanda is on break and will get back to me. I said this has happened twice before and will not hang up. I ended up paying the charge which I have no idea why. I just don't want any collections or legal action take. It is their fault for not following through. I almost want to tell every one at EOS don't rejoin You never get out of a contract

  • What was the notice period for non renewal after the one year contract?  Many gym contracts require two months notice.
