Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Discount plumbing (Groves Plumbing), run new line sewer to city line and connected wrong, it backed up and they blamed the city, but wasn't the city of pt Arthur's fault, it was discount Plumbing, they told me my toilet was not working and had to be replaced ($500.00) My cost. but had another plumber look at same toilet and it was OK. they caused the back up and sold me a toilet I didnt need to solve problem. which it didnt, the city came out and fixed the problem, but I was with out toilet for 2 days during holiday. thanks BB laGrange"

  • David's Discount Plumbing would like to offer a sincere apology and give Mrs. LaGrange a $200.00 refund for the price of the toilet, seat, and all parts used to install the new toilet. We never want our customers to feel "ripped off" in any way. Our service manager has been in contact with Mrs. LaGrange and made her this an offer over the phone but we have not heard from her on it as of yet. Mrs. LaGrange has been a long time customer of ours and we hope that she will still use us for her future plumbing issues.

  • I noticed that the company has responded to your complaint here, and also that you are open to offers in regards to your claim. Are you hoping for or seeking something in particular for your claim here? It seems that the company is at least open and responsive to some form of compromise, as it also seems that you have had a long term relationship as a customer. Perhaps sitting down with an owner or representative of the company, and going over your complaints with the service, will help towards a possibly resolution.
