Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I am having difficulties getting money back from Direct Shopping Network. I ordered 3 rings from this company after viewing their show on DISH TV.
On September 30, 2011, I ordered a morganite ring for $588. On October 2, 2011 I ordered a pink sapphire ring for $1319.95 and one day later, I ordered a demantoid garnet ring for $1158.95.
I was told I would receive the rings in 2-3 weeks. The amounts were charged to 2 different credit cards that I have in my name.
I called the company 4 weeks later on Oct. 27, and was told 2 of the rings were scheduled to be sent on Monday 31, and she would check on the delay on the morganite ring. I called again on Nov. 7 since I had not received anything from the company, and was then told non of the rings had been shipped, and the customer service rep could not explain the delay or when I would receive the items.
I then cancelled the orders for the 3 rings, and was told I would get a refund in 3-5 business days. This was during the phone call on November 7.
I have yet to receive any of my money back. My credit cards still have these amounts on them, and I am paying interest on these amounts that total $3066.90.
I have placed numerous calls to Customer Service at Direct Shopping Network. I speak primarily to Jessica and/or Ashley. I am told they have no control over the refund. I have been told I need to speak to Tina in Accounting.
I have left several voice mail messages for Tina asking and even begging that she call me and let me know when I will get my money back. I even told her she could call me collect. I have never even had the courtesy of a call back from her.
Customer Service says there is no one else there that can help me. Jessica and Ashley say they do not have a supervisor I can talk to. I am also told Tina has no supervisor.
I have asked that the owner/president of the company call me - his name is Art Garabidian. He has never done so.
I do not know what else to do. I want and need my money back. They have had over $3000 of my money for over 3 months, and I am not only without these funds, but have been paying interest for this time that the charges are on my Discover card and Capital One card.
I am asking for any help you can give me. Thank you for your time and assistance.
I believe my account number with Direct Shopping Network is 90417.
Mary Davis"
