Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I got a DevaCurl haircut in Dec. and was so excited to use their product to keep my curls going. However, after less than a month I noticed I was losing far more than normal amounts of hair in the shower. Soon after I heard about a class action lawsuit being filed against the company because there was such widespread hairloss amongst their customers. I immediately stopped using the product and requested a refund.

They told me it wouldn't be a problem to refund me, so I shipped my products back to the company in early March. I emailed them in April to ask about the proccess of my refund; they responded that it would take 6-8 weeks for it to be proccessed due to COVID-19.

6-8 weeks later (in June) I emailed again to check in on the status of my refund, at which point they responded that it would be an ADDITIONAL 6-8 weeks for proccessing.

I find it unacceptable that proccessing a return would take nearly 6 months - especially since their website quotes 2-3 weeks for refunds, even given COVID-19.

I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on this, and I would like my money back immediately, as well as compensation for all the runarounds."
