Claimant says:
"Sunny gave an estimate on body work for my car., a Honda Civic Silver EX '98 model.
He was going to charge $600.00 for the body paint on some areas,
replace the visors and work on the dents.
His assistant Mohammed received a down payment for $200. 00 to
buy the materials.
The car job was to be done in one day.
Needless to say, this was not done.
After repeated visits. the car was painted and returned to me in the
evening at my residence. The remainder of the sum of $400.00 was
collected. This was paid in cash. No official receipt was issued.
The next morning upon closer examination of the paint job,
it was discovered the paint was not silver but gray and the visors
were not changed. Upon leaving messages and getting no response,
I went to his place of business and got countless excuses.
Eventually, one of the visors was replaced. I was told to return on a
certain date. Not surprisingly, no was at the shop. Repeated calls were
made from my end, no response from the owner or his assistant.
At this stage, I have a two toned car on one side and one visor still
not replaced.
I am hoping this issue can be resolved as quickly as possible.
