"bought a whirlpool dish washer in nov.2015 told it was a floor model have had a repair man twice since nov. there is peeling paint on front have found out the dish washer is a 2009 model I am a senior do I have any recourse ?"

  • never was marked as discontinued wsa told it was a floor modelaand not told it was a 2009 model in fact Iwas told it was best model on the floor. did not know paint would be peeling and repairs needed .If not a new appliance I would not have purchesd it .there was NO marking saying any thing .I foolishly trusted Mitchelle

    "This was sold as a display model at half the cost of the unit if it were purchased brand new. The customer new this. WE WERE AS HELPFUL AS POSSIBLE BUT WHEN YOU BUY A UNIT THAT IS CLEARLY MARKED AS DISPLAY AND WE TOLD HER IT WAS DISCONTINUED, THEN WE FEEL WE DID NOT MISREPRESENT THE PRODUCT OR DECEIVE HER IN ANY WAY."
