Claimant says:
"I called Michele Boykin, the counselor my daughter is seeing because I needed to speak to her privatlely about a matter that concerned my daughter who lives with her dad and step mom. She in turn called her step mom and reiterated verbatim what I had said on the message I left. This is extremely unethical and has broken any trust that I had with her as my daughters advocate. (The person who is supposed to look out for her.)"

  • 10-18-2010 — Left message on Michele's voicemail, called back on 10/19/2010 & left another message to make sure she had received message left on the day prior expressing that it was urgent I speak with her in regards to my daughter but needed to make sure my daughter stays protected in all of this...(meaning to keep it confidential.) She called back a short while later and after reasurring me that what I had to say to her would stay between us. I endulged a situation my daughter wanted to remain confindential. A half an hour after speaking with her I received a call from my daughter who expressed that her step mom called and asked why I would have called her counselor and say she needed to be protected! Needless to say I called back aagin to see if she contacted her step mom about our actual conversation and I have yet to hear back..? Completely unprofessional!!
