"I thought I was buying books for children at Shriner's hospital, but I think it was a scam. I immediately filled out the notice of cancellation and mailed it the next day. Which was Sep. 29' 2015. I wrote two checks. # 893 for $61.00 and # 895 for$59.00. My checks have not been cashed, but they have not been returned to me. I'm concerned that they will be cashed and I don't know what steps I need to take."

  • On 6-13-17 a solicitor cam knocking at my door. I bought a 1 yr subscription to a childrens magazine for $75.00 from the Coastal Subscription Agency LLC PO Box 84137 Phoenix, AZ 85071 The next day realized this might be a scam so I contacted what I thought was the company to cancel this transaction www.coastalsubscriptions.com  within the first 3 days like the form indicates Receipt # J4087788 indicates. I saw in his hands (the solicitor named Oliver) multiple checks from my neighbors from orders they placed with him, I might add. This company immediately cashed my check for which the money came out of my checking account, and since June 2017 I have never received the magazine each month as stated on my receipt. Today I might add is 8-24-17. I want my money back. I've been duped. And not only that but these people have my checking acct # and personal address etc and all info that appears on a check.  Thank You, Carol from Elgin, IL

  • I still have not received my magazines, you took my money receipt #C4021746 on 8/27/16 her name was Rebecca, the amount taken out of my account was $59.50, please send my magazines or return my money.
