Claimant says:
"They do not know how to install travertine. They installed approx. 1100SF - the floor was not level in numerous spots in every room. Then they applied a clear coat to make it shine (big mistake). One week after installation, the floor had dulled, you could see shoe marks and scratches from the spots the dog walked on. Long story short, they could not fix the issues and we brought a tile restoration company in to give us a quote to level the floors and hone the travertine to a shine finish (the correct way). The cost was $5000. We called Clay Hollingsworth and Ray Ploutz (ClayCo owners) and presented to them what the other company quoted us. They agreed to split the cost of fixing the floor so their share would be $2500. About a month later after we had the work done, they told us they would not be able to pay the $2500. So we asked, what can you do to make this right? They agreed to 2 vanities and tops for our other full bath and half bath. That was in late Nov 2013. We agreed to wait after the holidays and install in January 2014. Well January came and went - they told us the vanities were on order - another lie. To date they will not return phone calls or emails. We also had to pay an additional $3000 to install travertine to 2 additional rooms which was included in their bid but they did not do"
