Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I have been a tenant at 1206 n 46th st Milwaukee Wisconsin 53208 since April 2013. when I moved in the property it was owned by Jason Scott reality ; the property is now owned by Citywide Rentals & Property Management LLC. Two weeks ago I call to report that there was a bed bug problem. The manager who I spoke with promised me some one would be out if not that same day the next day. so while waiting I asked the tenant upstairs if she had been having problems with bed bugs and she told me once the weather got hot she starting see them in her daughter room as well as on her carpet around her house. After two week of waiting on some relief from management company, throwing away every piece of wooden furniture I owned , and two beds I move the remainder of my belongings off of the property. after moving out I contacted Citywide Rentals to inquire about the process of getting back my security deposit so me and my daughter can start looking for a new home, and that is where all my troubles began the manager of Citywide Rentals told me since I didn't give a 30 day I would not be refunded my $625 security deposit.... I was furious at this point and couldn't understand how he could say that when he knew I had asked for there assistance in getting rid of the bed bugs no one came to spray or anything and they expected me to live with bed bugs for 30 more days and then move"

  • This is a fabricated story, made up because tenant broke her legal binding contract, aka residential lease. There was never a written notice or even a verbal notice to vacate. This claim is the first time we are even hearing that tenant vacated, in fact we have not even received keys. Bed bug issues are contracted out by a professional outside extermination company, we do not control their schedule. The complaint was made by the other tenant in the duplex, not steward, stating that steward brought the bugs into the property. This complaint was only made one week ago, and has already been contracted out.

  • Citywide rentals is full of crap the manager know Tiffany steward myself is the one who place the complaint about the bedbugs the upstairs neighbor Shanda never complained about bedbugs I asked her after I seen them coming from the ceiling had she been seeing them and she said yes she seen them on her carpet and is the reason why she is hardly ever home I did not give proper notice to move because I did not plan on moving until there was nothing done about the bedbugs my lease was month-to-month and hadn't been renewed in over six months so I know for fact that my lease had expired and I Been gave them my keys to the property they were closed so I' dropped them in the dropbox on the first of the month they have until the 24th of this month to reimburse me because I already have a lawyer and I will take this to court
