Claimant says:
"I rented a car online with them for Tampa, Florida to pick up at the airport. When I arrived at the airport there was no Car Rental 8 that existed. I called the number on the voucher which I had printed and was advised to go to Budget rental at the airport. I showed them the voucher and rented the car. I was charged $192.00 for three days of rental from Budget which was fine. The problem is Car rental 8 had charged me an additional $166.00. I had a small vehical not even midsize. I called them and tried to explain it to them to no avail. I just feel lefr I have been ripped off basically I was charged twice."

    Car rental 8 is a broker to car rental suppliers, we provide wholesale rates to the public. Customer purchased the basic rental for the dates requested. she was provided a voucher showing Budget as the supplier. At time of rental customer purchased optional items of insurance and upgrade, both items were of the customer choice and additional to the voucher she paid directly with Car rental 8. The voucher was honored and no charges from Budget other than the optional items plus taxes and fees. this was explained to the customer on previous occasions. Purchasing extra items is optional and will always be in addtion.
