Claimant says:
"I entered into a signed contract with Brong Builders to replace my roof at 1831 Lehigh St Easton Pa (rental property) on 05 September 2015 for the cost of $4100. $2000 deposit was given that day. Brong Builders had done work for me in the past and I was going on Vacation and would not be home when the job was to be completed so I gave Brong Builders the remaining amount of $2100 on 09 September 2015. On 22 September I returned home to inspect roof and found a pallet of shingles in the front yard. After contacting Brong Builders I found out that there was an issue with the shingles to be removed. I want to the Codes office (Wilson Borough) and a resolution was made regarding the existing shingles. I contacted Brong Builders and informed them that a resolution was made and that I would pay for the additional cost of a sub straight that would need to be applied. I had said material delivered to the property. I talked to Brong Builders multiple time after that trying to arrange a new start date. On 01 November 2015 I demanded a start date. I was told 14 November 2015. The date came and nothing was done. I tried multiple times after that to contact Brong Builders, without success. On 19 November 2015 I hired another contractor to complete the work. I estimate that the pallet of shingles cost around $1000 Plus an estimate labor cost of minimal labor done, $300. Broung Builders owes me $2800. Brong Builders phone number is 570-614-9089."
