Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"In 2015, I got a recall for oil consumption on my 1006 Rav 4. At that time, I was told the mileage and age qualified for the recall. I took my car to them and they put markers on the oil and told us to bring the car back when it had been driven 1,000 miles or more. When we took the car back the service manager told us the car did qualify for the recall they would order parts to fix it. We were told the parts were ordered in January, 2016. Since that time, I have called Bondy's Service and were told that it was taking a long time to get parts, but they would notify me when parts were received. We were also told to keep up with the amount of oil we put in the car and Toyota would reimburse for the oil used. Now they have another service manager who is telling us that the car does not qualify for the recall. We have since purchased a new 2015 from Bondy's - thinking our older car would be fixed as soon as possible and did not want to damage it anymore than necessary. Let me say, I will never purchase another thing from this company and I will be giving them a bad reference."
