Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"We inspected the house that Mr Heim represented for property owner, Phillip Wells, in May. My daughter and I pointed out several issues that neede to be repaired/replaced prior to our move in date. We moved in the weekend of June 1st. One of the most important issues was that not every window had a screen in it. We called and Mr Heim said he would take care of it.He had some workers repair 4 screens. There were several others that have not, to this moment been repaired. I personally had to drive back and forth to the hardware store, 5 miles away, to try to remedy this situation. Mr Hein told us that the property boundries included the tree line in the back and from fence to fence on either side. We asked if we could put up a clothes line, and he said yes, at our expense. When we did put it up, he came out and stated that it was 4 ft over the 'property line' of our neighbors. We had no idea. He said it needed to come down. The posts were cemented in place. One afternoon I returned to see the clothes poles with lines attached thrown into the backyard. We have a broken window sash in the front living room area. The gasket around the freezer door was split when we moved in and has gotten exponentially worse with use over the summer months. The back fence is obliterated with weeds well over the height of the fence and is hardly visable through the debris. We received an estimate from our lawn care company of $100.00 to clean the mess. There was a lawn mower on the property that Me Heim stated was for our use. Howver, it never worked (needed a new spark plug) and has since disappeared. We have no screens on the front or back door, although the back door has a storm door, but the screens were rotted and he refuses to replace them. All of this and Mr Heim's very nasty and abusive attitude has made living here rather unpleasant. We want these issues resolved. We also told him of the back burner on the electric stove which was not working and he stated, you will probably need a new stove. He has done nothing to repair any of these issues."
