Claimant says:
"It all started when I gave them $1,300 for a new motor. They told me they ran compression test on the motor and everything was good so I said ok I'll take it . I walked into this knowing I was in need of another motor and yes it was used that's all I could afford at the time and so I purchased a 6 month extended warranty with the motor. I didn't even get a week out of it before it started to leak water from the front and the back of the motor and it started to leak oil as well along, with all that it started to run like crap. so I gave them a call telling them what was going on with it and nick the guy who was helping me with all this told me to take it to a Mechanic and have them run some compression test on the motor so I said okay and then I was thinking about what he had told me to do was already done before he sold me the motor well I guess all the test they did was a BIG fat lie they never tested the motor before they sold it to me so I took it in and found out what was wrong with it and called nick back and told him what was going on he told me that he would get me another motor so I said okay thank you he then called the Portland Oregon B & R and the guy up there tested the other motor nick calls me back and said it runs good no misfire or leaks I said okay I'll take it. so he ordered it and told me it will be here next week I said ok so I stared on pulling the motor out of my Tahoe and after I got done doing so I got a phone call from a guy named Justin who works for B&R up in Portland and he told me they can't give me another motor because they don't want me to go thru the same thing I'm going thru right now but I told him the deal was done and I already pulled my motor out Justin then told me he will call me back and he was going to call his boss and talk to him to see what they could do for me. so an hour went by and Justin called me back he told me they could give me a check for $100 and that should fix all your problems that should cover the intake manifold gasket and your injectors. I told him that's not going to cover what I need he said okay let me call my boss back I said okay as I was waiting around I pulled my injectors out and the whole assembly needs to be replaced so I call an auto parts store they told me that it would run me about $380 for the new ones so I called Justin back and he shot me down so I ask him for the other motor and he said but what we could do is give you a check for $150 and you could pay for the other half. I told him I was going down to talk to nick in person to get this salved as my friend was taking me down to B&R I get another call from Justin and now he is telling me that the motor I paid $1300 for was just for parts and that I was to pull parts off my old motor to fix the one I just paid $1300 for now if I would have been told all this to begin with I would have ordered all brand new parts for the motor that was in my Tahoe to begin with and I would have had a brand new engine instead of dealing with them and it seems like the 6 month warranty was a scam to get extra money out of me. what's a warranty if they don't hold up their end of the deal? that's just extra money in their hand
they are very unprofessional about the whole thing I feel like they stole from me and instead of sticking with one guy by the end there was 5 guys giving answers
They should have let one guy help me instead of bringing 5 guys to do one guys job
I feel that I should be getting a refund back for what they have put me thru I find what has happened was very immature and it was very unprofessional
