Subject: Demand Letter

Date: January 27, 2016


I am writing this letter to request a refund of $1,103.89 for the amount paid for the misdiagnosis and

repair made on my car (2007 Mercedes Benz E-350). On December 1, 2015 I dropped my car off

around closing time. I explained to Mr. Nia that the car would cut off at high speeds then start back

up. When driving on surface roads the car would cut off when I came to a complete stop. The car would

start back up with no problem. After running the diagnostic on the car, Mr. Nia informed me that

the intake manifold had gone bad, which was causing the car to cut off. He rebuilt the part and

changed out the spark plugs. I picked the car up on December 5th 2015. As I was driving the car home

it cut off again. I did not drive the car again until Monday morning. The car continued

to cut off at high speeds and completely cut off when I came to a complete stop. I had the car

towed to the dealership (RBM of Atlanta) on December 9th 2015. The correct repairs were made

and my car now drives fine. The dealership replaced a faulty Crank Sensor in the vehicle.

The problem with the car had nothing to do with the major engine work performed by

Autobahn Imports, this was just a means of running up a higher repair bill. In view of

the above mention incident with Autobahn Imports, I am asking that I be refunded the total amount

paid of $1,103.89 for the misdiagnosis and unnecessary repair on my car.

This demand letter is being sent to resolve this issue with no further cost to you such as car

rental fees around $400.00, charges paid to RBM of Atlanta for duplication services performed

such as diagnostic, etc around $200.00 and all future legal fees and court costs. Attached to this letter

you will find the information for the towing service, invoices for the car rentals and RBM billing.
