Claimant says:
"I will have to say i don't check my checking statement as I should. Tonight I found a charge for 97.88 from ESKIN. Their phone number was on my statement 866-523-4193. I chose option 1. when I finally spoke to a customer service lady, she told me I had placed the order in Novermer of 2011. I told her I did not remember placing an order for this item as for the expense. She said that this cost was only $2.00 for shipping and handling. She said the fine print indicated that I had 10 days to call and cancel my order. I told her I did not receive that order, yet I must have given them my banking account number as they have been charging my account 97.88 since Nov 2011 - Feb 2012. Plus I have never received their product! I asked for my money back and she replied I had made the order and i had 2 more shipments to recieve. I again asked for my money back and she told me that the shipments had been delivered by US mail. This is fraud....if they were going to send a sample of their product for only shipping and handling that is one thing. But to change my account with out checking if I wanted the product that is wrong! I want my money back, and I will never order a free sample again...please advise $97.88 x 4 = $391.52 I don't know about you , but that is a lot of money I could have used."

    "Thank you for your correspondence. The claims you make in your complaint are FALSE. Our company AuraVie Skincare did not charge you $391.52. In fact you signed up for our ten day trial offer in November and immediately put the account on hold so that you would not be billied for the product you ORDERED and RECEIVED. This suggests you understood the trial program when you signed up for the product. This action resulted in three DECLINED charges to your account which you document as damages owed to you. AuraVie SKincare takes claims such as yours very seriously and must investigate these claims until the truth is known. You jeopardize our online reputation with claims that are not true nor provable. Our company has deemed no further action is necessary on our part."

  • This company is a rip off. I signed up for FREE Samples. I found nothing on the page I was on stated they were going to charge me $97.88 within 10 days. I searched for anything like that. This company needs to give up and close down

  • This is not good for customer I paid 4.99 for shipping and i called for them to cancel my membership Iwas told i have to return the unused product before i could cancel my membership. In the ad it said it had 30 day guarantee, if I was not satisfied.I could cancel anytime and keep the product. How can I make cancel ?

  • I'm having same issue, how i read the add, was it was a risk free trial offer, and if you didn't like you could cancel anytime. I paid $2.95 for what i thought was a free item and if i liked it i could continue to get shipments from them for $99 s/h, when i called to cancel they argued with me, finally got them to close my account, i have not opened these "free samples" trying to find someone to return them for me, i just had shipping. I thought is was a free sample. Any risk free program does not make people pay to return "free" items either. they pay for it, i asked at least to get the $ back for the $2.95 since they refused to pay for me to return unused items. I have pictures of the items so if they try to say they were used, i have prove they were not. I want at least what i paid for shipping the item to me or for at least what i had to pay to ship it. Unless you go to their actual site you do not see the full info, the add that is on alot of sites just gives partial info. Very misleading. To top it off, i didn't even personally do this, a so called friend to advantage of me being ill and was taking care of me and took my credit card, i didn't find out about this till i got an email with a rma #..finally she admitted because i was in tears after calling this company, they are very rude, non-caring and not willing to work with you and this company is a total scam, i have done some research and there are sooo many bad things about this company. I'm asking for a small amount of $ back and they won't do it. Good luck to you.

  • I worked for Auravie for almost one year, let me tell u its a scam in my deepest honest opinion. DONT CALL IN! WHAT YOU SAY WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU! GO DIRECTLY TO YOUR BANK! NEVER CONFIRM YOU EMAIL ON FILE. THREATEN TO CLOSE YOUR CCOUNT SO YOU CAN BE ISSUED A REFUND IN FULL. THEY DO A SMART THING THAT IS CALLED CLOAKING. ITS A RESON WHY U DONT SEE 10 DAYS "RISK FREE TRIAL" when you signed up. It was never initially there. It will always read 30 DAYS. Once you sign for the trial your IP address is gathered and from that point on, the bot will register YOUR COMPUTER

  • I had the same rip off happen to me. I asked for a sample, paying shipping and handling. Only after they got my credit card did they reveal the illegal contract agreement and exorbitant price. I got a complete run around trying to cancel this arrangement I never agreed to. Totally illegal, unethical, they should be put out of business.
