Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"A few weeks ago I called ATT to get a quote on phone and internet charges each mo I was thinking about changing for my internet provider whi I still have now. ALL i did was get a quote. About a week later i received this big box by UPS that had all this equipment in it that i did not order a few days later a service tech came to my door and wanted to hook me up for service. Then yesterday I received a bill from ATT witha accout Number and a bill for 100.00. Rember the this I have not order anything. After about a hour on the phone with ATT this morning regarding this bill they cut me off three times before i finally got to talk to someone. She told me to go to the post office and return this the post office will not give you a receipt for sending it back unless you pay for it I'm not paying 30 to 40 dollars for something I did nt order just to get a receipt. Ao i told the rep that I would take it to Fedex and return it there they give you a receipt showing you mailed it back. The rep told me that they would no accept it by fedex because they do not use fedex and i would still have to pay the 100.00 or tehy would turn me into the credit bureau. I am going to talk witha attorney tommorow to see what they say i will sue ATTB if this comes out on my credit report. I think this is terible to do consumers like this when you have not order anything to begain with. Please help me i do not want Att to hurt my credit just because they think they can.   • As of 3/12/12 they are still wanting me to pay this already talk to lawyer he is wainting on them to seee what they are going to do they just keep seading me nasty letters wating ther money that they dont deserve. Please Please people do not go with this company they are awlful.
