Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I received a call from AT&T concerning my balance on Oct. 1, 2012. I told them I would pay them the same way I always did. With a partial payment in the amount of $353.83, using a debt card that was on file. AT&T claims in error they took $547.18. At this time there was no money in my acct. and the tranaction was pending. Supv. Lance Nelson said not to worry, because this was done without my permission all I had to do was call my bank and they could stop the transaction. My bank Chase, said that AT&T was the one who should stop the transaction and there was nothing they could do. Again I called AT&T and they again said because the money was pending go to my bank and have them fax my acct. information to there treasure dept and the money will be put back into my acct within 24 hrs. Today Oct. 3,2012 when I checked my acct. my social security check was deposit into the acct. and $547.18, was taken out. I called AT&T, I spoke to Supv. Remson Camphos, he said he knows the money was taken out without permission but there is nothing they can do. It will take 10 days to get my money back. How can they do this, and what can I do to make sure I get my money back. I'm a mother of (3) three, young girls and I live on a fixed income of $1620. from S.S"
