Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I was on flight AA 267 19 June at 6:15 pm flying out of Los Angeles to Honolulu. Before boarding our fight. An flight ticket agent has overhead page Justin Payne (15 year old who was flying with me) and my self (Craig Day) to ask if we could changes our seats to exit seat, from our original seats 27e and 27f (window seat). I agree (thinking there were exit seat) after boarding the plane and finding out the seat were not exit seat, (10 D and E) I approach the flight attending, who did not have a name tag on." His reply was, that it was my fault for not knowing the seating arrangement on this plane. They call that an exit seat." I then ask could I speak to a supervisor, He said I will see if I can find one. I saw another gentlemen who was walking by with a radio who was helping passenger finding seating, I ask him, if he was a supervisor. He reply to me no!!! without even looking at me ( my perception of him was, he acted as if I was bothering him) At this time I saw another flight attending,(with no name tag) I then ask her, is there a supervisor on board, she told me she is busy, but the guy with the radio can help you, she stop him and ask him if he could help me. At this time, he ask me what can I help you with, I explain to him in detail my concern. He reply to me, I will go out and talk to the ticket agent and get back to you, after five minute. I ask other flight attending, who also did not have a name tag, if i could speak to a supervisor, she ask me is there any think i can help you with, I also told her what my concern was , she agree I also told her I am waiting for the guy with the radio to return, i ask her do you know his name. Her reply was no. I am very disturbed with the service I received on this flight. I would had declined the seats if i know i was going to be misled. and by the way I am still waiting for the guy with the radio to return to me with the answer. He never returned to me or got back to me.
Complaint number 2 This has to do with the Agriculture forms that needed to be filled out before landing
by this time I was upset and frustrated with the bad service, that I was receiving from this flight, I ask a male flight attending if I could use his pen to fill out the agriculture form ( who had 2 pen on him at the time on his shirt) he told me to ask around, he did not want to me to use his pen, I was appalled, sometime after that incident I got up enough nerve to ask another flight attending who was a (female attending may be I get better luck) she told me to ask around that's how most people do it. At this time I was very frustrated with the service and felt like why do I have to jump through hurdles and hoops just to fill out a form, with this airline is handing out to me but can not provide the tool to fill out the form. And to top it off, at the end of the flight the male flight attending came bad to me in a very condescending voice, "did you fill out you fill yet sir.
I was able to manage to fill out my form, but no thanks to American Airlines."
