Claimant says:
"My husband who is Traumatic Brain Injured from when he was 18 and in the Navy (now 68) and has cognitive function problems, also diagnosed with executive decision making problems was talked into purchasing a 2012 Winnebago View for 109,000. I told the sales staff and general manager of his problem and I said no, I didnt want it but they sold it to him anyway. Also it has constantly been in the shop for work sometimes the same thing over and over again and is due to go back next monday. I told the general manager I wanted my old RV back after about 2-3 weeks because of all the problems and he said he couldnt do that. I have asked that they take this lemon back and return our money but they refused. I told them my husband was having problems driving which is why I wanted to consign our motor home for them to sell. A week or so after they talked him into the new motor home he wrecked it. I have also contacted Troy Swearingen Winnebago Industries at 1-800-537-1885 or@winnebagoind.con about this unit being a lemon and he makes sure the parts to fix the lemon get here but refuses to discuss taking it back. Thank you"
