Statement of Claim
Complaint Involved (1) - View
Claimant says:
"I had All My Sons move my personnel property in to Milts storage facility August 2015, the door was locked and was not opened until August 2016 when I moved my personnel property to my new home. As I started to remove the furniture I noticed damage to table tops (4) in all and damage to the bottom of a box spring. I contacted All My Sons and the said they would send me a claim form. They did. I filled it out and send them pictures of the damaged furniture. ...............they replied. " The items, which you claim were damaged and missing, were moved into public storage facility on 8/20/15. At the time , no exceptions were noted to indicate any damage items during your move with us or while your goods were in our possession. Since we do not know how long the articles remained in public storage or who had access to it, we find that we are unable to assume any responsibility or liability for the damaged items now being claimed." My point of view is that All My Sons placed all the items in the storage. Or should I say the " threw it in the storage"! The door was locked at that time. It was moved out One (1) year to date on 8/20/16. That lock was not unlocked and or door opened until that date. there is proof to verify. They have security cameras 24/7, 365 days a year.   • In order to prove damages, it would be helpful if claimant provided photographs or a detailed description of the property at the time it was placed in storage, along with photographs and a detailed description of the property now. Damage estimates, including three estimates for each item, would assist me in considering the claim.
