Claimant says:
"I hired this company to seal my driveway. They finished the job in record time and in the process did not attempt to protect the newly installed siding/garage door of my house. As a result, tar was splattered on the lower 2 - 3 feet of the house. I called and was informed that soap and hot water would easily remove it. I tried that and it didn't. They said they would come out the next day and remove it themselves. No show. I called again and was told that they had some solvent that would remove it easily and would come out the next day. Again no show. Meanwhile I found that a Bug and Tar remover made for cars would remove the tar but it took some effort and several applications to remove the larger spots. I spent approximate 3-1/2 hours to finially get 99% of it removed. The second problem resulted when shortly after they finished it started to rain and unfortunately rained for two days, after which I discovered that parts of the driveway were not sealed. I beleve they should return and seal the surface not sealed the first time. The last two times I've called, even their answering system doesn't respond and messages to call me have gone unanswered. I want to be present when the sealing is done so that I can protect portions of the house that may be close to the work"

  • This Claim was solved before the 18th of may.. all county resealed the property and wash away from the rain

  • Jun 06, 2014, All County Asphalt and Masonry (responding party) added:

  • All County claims this dispute was settled on the 18th but that was in word only. Then they were going to reseal the driveway on the 20th but didn't show. Again, they were going to reseal on Jun.5 but didn't show. All attempts to reach them by phone have failed.

We are accepting your terms and will be more then happy to come out to reseal the entire driveway although the claim is stating that after rain occurred for two days some spots show not sealed, that was obviously due to the fact that those areas were still wet with sealer when the weather changed to rain. We are aware that the weather is stating for the next few days thunderstorms and we do not want a reoccurring issue. with that said we are aiming to be there between the 15th - 18th of may 2014. Under no circumstances will we arrive if there is any rain. Please feel free to contact 844-295-5722. If by chance there is an issue because of rain our office manager will contact you.. Thank you and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you
