Statement of Claim
Complaint Involved (1) - View
Claimant says:
"At the end of March, I returned my Porsche to Michigan, using a Affordable auto rentals NAE Transport in Naples Florida.
I was told that my car wold be trucked to Orlando and then to Michigan.
Two days later I was told that my car was driven to Orlando and that it was on its way to me and that I would see 200 mile in excess.
I told them that they had no right to drive my car, their answer "we wanted to get your car sooner because we could not get a truck soon enough.
When the driver called me to say " I will deliver you car in the morning" I gave him the address of the dealer in Ann Arbor.
The inspection found nothing wrong, except that the odometer read 250 miles, 50 miles in excess.
The distance from Naples to Orlando is 200.
I asked the trucking company to explain the extra miles on my odometer and their answer was "well you got your car, have a nice day and hung up.
I disputed the charge of $ 925.00 with the help of Visa /Chase, but to no avail."
