Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"i walked into aarp at the oakdale mall in johnson city ny to get my taxes doneand where i have gotten them done for past 2 years.at the front desk evie says did you fill out your paper work,i said i didnt get any yet ,she says i didnt ask you that i repied i cant fill it out if i didnt get any .she looks at me and says we dont take young people anyway.i said ill be 53 this year im not young and this is my 3rd year here.she then gestures to an older gentleman with a cane and took him before me,i said whats up with that and evie replies he is disabled and you will be there some day .she then in 5 minutes time has me move into several different chairs ,i then am called to first table to go over my stuff and the lady says were is last years taxes well i was told only needed to do that the first time and that i would be in the system after that.she leaves then comes back and says ok we will do them because there easy ones .then 2 seconds later donna vanderburg who is the coordinater says where is this where is that where is your husband do you even no where last years taxes are at this point i felt i was being interegated and humiliated on purpose ,i picked up my things and said i would be reporting this incident and on way out informed evie i had been disabled for more than 20 years and that she was rude and out of line .i have since made several complaints to aarp with many case numbers since febuary 8 th and nothing has been done about this ."
