Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I accepted a collect call from my grandson through 3g collect. It was one call and you could talk for 30 min. for $15.00. I accepted and then when the call was over I received a text message saying to go on line to pay the bill. It was to a cell phone. I went on line and could not connect with their web site so sent them a text asking if they would call so I could pay over the phone. No they commented you pay on line only. One week later I tried again and this time got through and paid with a credit card. I was able to print a receipt. Now at all hours because they are in New York and I am in Ca. I get text messages saying you better pay your bill or I will send this to the credit dept. and ruin your credit. They will not say anything else and I have an address now to pay the bill but I already did and it is $19.13 as they say that I took two calls and not just one. I need them to stop the harassment or contact me so we can talk."

Message from 3G Collect Llc: Please allow this to serve as a formal response to the complaint sent on August 31, 2012 on 3G Collect, LLC, business complaint 7481769-195483.

The complaint filed by Sharon Graham states that she is receiving text messages stating there is a balance due of $19.13 for a collect call that was paid with a credit card In order for us to review the account, we will need to have the cell phone number in question, which is how we track customer accounts. Upon receipt of this information, we can research the account to verify the payment paid by credit card. At which time we will determine if we accept the $7.95 claim.
