Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I hired Swift Moving Systems to move me from GA to FL but had to store my furniture with Swift for 2 month until I could obtain a place for them to deliver it. Meanwhile, Hurricane Matthew passed through Miami and some of my furniture was water damaged, some items were lost and damaged and Swift will not take any responsibility for it. They offered me $66.00 for a 7 piece bedroom suit (including pillow top mattress & box springs) and a 60" Sony HD, WiFi TV that is less than 2 years old (that I'm still making payments one ). That was a slap in the face to me because my bedroom suit is made by The LANE Company which is not cheap furniture. There were also 2 boxes missing and a file cabinet, computer, end table and a sofa table that were all damaged. Pictures of my damages are attached.

The attached file is what I sent to Swift and they offered me $66.00, come on!"

  • I'm sure you signed a contract with SWIFT. Check it: does it says that you properties are insured? Then you'll get the money. If not, then not! That's it, sorry!
