"I recently sold my home at 2631 west 1075 north Layton utah for 148000 thousand dollers and received two pay off amounts of just over 80,000 for my first morgage at wells fargo which i feel was fair ,but over 38,000 from springleaf financial which i feel is well over the pay off should of been! this loan was trnsfeered from benefical mortgage in 2013 and at one time i called for a payoff balance and it was at just over 33,000.where did this extra come from? and why so much we have been paying on this loan for nearly 15 years ,i know it was high interest and we had some problems but why the extra 5000 in only 4 months didnt seem right.now im looking into it and i cant get any answers from them as well as they cant pull up my paid account to see and prove the balances im concerned ive been cheated on alot of money from mjy home sale.springleaf sent me a 17 doller check for overpayment! please help resolve this and give me answers thank you James Hall JR account number 18596490 for springleaf and 91170200669373 for beneficial. i will probably retain a lawyer for this to further look into this thanks"
