Claimant says:
"I had cancelled my auto pay prior to getting my billing because I had cancelled tv service and expected a delay in credit to my account. The company charged my bank automatically anyway. I called the company, was on the phone for 45mins just trying to get transferred to collections. When I finally got collections they were able to correct the charge by refunding my bank account. However, the original charge caused an overdraft fee from my bank. I told them this and they required me to fax them a copy of my bank statement that showed that their charge caused the overdraft. I have faxed them the required documentation twice now and have called back to see if they received it. Everytime I call to see if they have received it I get the run-around or hung up on."

Message from Suddenlink Communications By Altice: Ms. Brooks,

We have received your complaint. Upon investigation of the complaint it was determined that on 8/28/17, you requested to be removed from EZ-pay. Although EZ-pay was removed, a payment was drafted in error on 9/11/17. We have refunded the payment and we are willing to credit the $35.00 overdraft fee. However, we regretfully cannot give you $250.00 for damages or $20.00 for calling into the call center.
