Claimant says:
"The owner is trying to steal my cash deposit of $8,900 of which I was just told to initial and sign, I was never advised that I was signing a liquidated damages clause.

I have had some trouble coming up with the other $12,200 to complete the $22,000 sale of used salvage title Mercedes glk 350 suv, I have asked for an extension til the Feb 5th, 2014, because I get one extra payday in Jan, and a holiday bonus and a Christmas check so I will have $4,000 extra without touching my regular salary or money for bills and rent.

I have tried so hard to sell my current used car for which the owner did not offer me anything although he admitted it was in excellent condition.

He knew my purchase of his vehicle was contingent upon the sale of my current used vehicle,
After many showings no one was willing to pay close to the wholesale value of my car, because the economy is absolutely horrible.

I found a friend who wants to buy my car has the money in hand, just waiting for me to come up with the other $3,700 so he can buy it I can take that money with the $3,700 and pay the $12,200 balance left on the vehicle I already left the deposit."
