Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"For 22 plus years I have had vacation ownership through Wyndham Vacation Resorts. I have 605,000 points to use annually which makes me a "Gold" owner, entitling me to preferential treatment, so I have been told.

On December 31, 2011 I had over 400,000 unused points. Realizing I had forgotten to deposit my unused points, I called that same day to request the points be deposited to
R.C.I. where I would have two (2) more years in which to use them. My call was after 6pm on the 31st and they had closed.

When Wyndham reopened I called and asked that my remaining points be released to R.C.I. but they refused to do so stating there was no exception. At the same time, several of the customer service representatives I spoke with told me that in the past they had always released points to R.C.I. after the deadline. I have never failed to bank my unused points until this year, nor have I ever asked Wyndham for anything. I am now asking that they exercise the preferred status they say I have as a "Gold" owner and release these unused points. It won't cost Wyndham anything to do this for me, but it will cost me dearly if they don't.

I called four different Customer Service Representatives, asked for supervisors on the
2nd of January when they reopened only to be told every time they would not release
my unused points to R.C.I. Needless to say, I was very disappointed., so am seeking any
help you can give me."
