Claimant says:
"As an ecological consultant, I conducted work to obtain a permit application through the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), for impacts to natural resources as a result of developing a sand and gravel mine in accordance with a signed work agreement by Mr. Joe Gentner, the managing operator and partner. He paid me for the first invoice for work conducted to that point in time, then when invoiced for the remaining performed work, he refuses to pay. Once he acquired the permit to proceed, between the time of the first invoice and the balance of fees owed in the second invoice, he has totally avoided responding to numerous invoice submittals, emails and phone calls. I have attempted to work out an agreement to get paid, the one tme he actually answered the phone by allowing him to pay it off monthly. He verbally agreed to begin doing this in April of 2012, but has not been forthcoming with any money and will not answer my inquiries. He owes over $4585.68 in fees and interest."
