Claimant says:
"On 03/31/2016, while traveling West on I-8, the driver Sukhvir Singh Nijjar, a driver for Transwest Express LTD, was driving in the right lane of the two lane highway. I was in the left lane. The driver of the truck turned right into my lane, hitting my car, and running me off the highway. There is extensive damage to my vehicle and bicycles that were mounted to my car.
When the Arizona Highway Patrol came to the scene, the officer cited me for being at fault. However, after going to court, the Judge agreed that I was NOT at fault and found me not responsible. The case number is TR201601541.
I have attempted numerous times to contact Mr. Nijjar to get this settled. I have also contacted his employer Transwest Express LTD. I spoke with a woman who claimed to be in their insurance department who said she would look into the matter and get back with me. We are now in August, and I have still not heard back from the company, even after numerous attempts to reach them.
I am seeking damages to get my car fixed and my bicycles fixed and bicycle rack replaced. Estimates in total I have amount to just under $10,000.
This is the information I have on Transwest Express LTD They have been in business since Oct. 2014. According to their website they only have 8 truck drivers.
